Adeline E. Mollaun's Obituary
Adeline E. Mollaun, age 86 of Batesville, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born January 15, 1921 in Springfield, Kentucky, she is the daughter of Mary (Nee: Blandford) and Walter Fields Sr. She married Albert Mollaun November 16, 1940 at St. Francis Seraph Church in Cincinnati. Adeline was a homemaker and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Albert; daughters and son-in-laws Donna and Willard Wallpe of Cincinnati, Bertie and Paul Schoettelkotte and Darlene Mollaun, all of Columbus, Indiana, Brenda Filler of Morris, Indiana; sons and daughter-in-laws Dan Mollaun of Greenville, South Carolina, Bernie and Andrea Mollaun of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters Helen Frazier of California, Theresa Maloney of Palm Springs, California, Jean Alburger of Cincinnati; brothers Walter Fields, Jr. of Fulton, Illinois, Bernie Fields of Batesville; 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sisters Naomi Wolljung, Barbara Stahley and brother Paul Fields. Visitation is Sunday, September 30th, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, October 1st, at St. Louis Church in Batesville with Rev. Bernard Varghese officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Ripley County Humane Society.
