Alice V. Meyer's Obituary
Alice V. "Stevie" Meyer, age 80 of Hamburg, Indiana, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Manderley Health Care in Osgood, Indiana. Born November 13, 1925 in Batesville, Indiana, she is the daughter of Mary (Nee: Fasbinder) and Chester Stevens. She married Paul "Pete" Meyer August 22, 1944, at St. Anne's Church in Hamburg. He preceded her in death August 30, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne's Church.Survivors include daughters Paula Bohman of Hamburg, Dianne Rynn of Batesville, Patricia Kaiser and Cynthia Ziemke, both of Oldenburg, Indiana; sons Richard of Oldenburg, Kenny and Donald, both of Batesville, Robert of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Gary of Hamburg; six sisters; one brother; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by her son Stephen as well as one brother.Visitation is Tuesday, April 18th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19th, at St. Anne's Church with the Rev. Gregory Bramlage officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family requests memorials to Manderley Health Care's "Catch a Dream" or St. Anne's Church.
