Becky A. Werner's Obituary
Becky A. Werner, age 55 of Batesville, Indiana, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at her home. Born in Hamilton, Ohio in 1952, she is the daughter of Charlotte (Nee: Nistler) and Albert Orschell. She married Dale Werner on September 16, 1978 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Brookville, Indiana.Becky was a buyer specialist/purchasing agent for the Hill-Rom Co. for 28 years. She was a member of the Oldenburg Academy Development Board and a long time volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.She is survived by her husband Dale; sons Phillip and Christopher Werner, both of Batesville; mother Charlotte Orschell of Brookville; sisters Marlene (Doug) Flaspohler of Brookville, Melanie (Terry) Flaspohler of Brookville; brothers Andrew (Lori) Orschell of Columbus, Indiana and Marty (Kathy) Orschell of Brookville. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter Emily Werner.Visitation is Friday, September 7th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8th, at the Srs. of St. Francis Chapel in Oldenburg, Indiana, with Rev. Carl Hawver, O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Becky A. Werner Scholarship Fund at the Oldenburg Academy.
