Charles H. Rork's Obituary
Charles H. Rork, age 53 of Versailles, Indiana and formerly of Batesville, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Silver Bell Nursing Home in Versailles. Born August 11, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is the son of Ruth (Nee: Knutson) and Edward Rork. He married Ingrid Schubert September 14, 1974 at the Osgood Church of Christ and she preceded him in death on April 1, 2005.Charles served in the army during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, he worked for the Hill-Rom Company for 25 years, before retiring.He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Dan and Bridget Rork of Sunman, Indiana; sisters Sandra Brown of Arkansas, Carol Hunter of Greensburg, Indiana; Faith Baughn of Osgood, Indiana; brothers Michael of Osgood and David of Alabama; grandchildren Austin and Cailey Rork. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Hilton.The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11a.m. Friday, October 12th, all at the funeral home. Rev. Vern Ella Smith will officiate. The family request memorials to the Delaware Volunteer Fire Department.
