Charles H. Scheele's Obituary
Charles H. Scheele, age 76 of Oldenburg, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Heritage House in Greensburg. Born February 2, 1935 in Oldenburg, he is the son of Clara (Nee: Simmermeyer) and Harry Scheele. He married Louisa Parker and she preceded him in death. On December 8, 1990 he married Beverly Buell. After serving in the army Charlie farmed and also worked for Federal-Mogul 34 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Oldenburg Knights of St. John and Holy Family Church. He is survived by his wife Beverly; daughter Natalie Scheele of Batesville; step daughters Kim Caramela of Cincinnati, Deborah Davis of Indianapolis, Cindy Schmidt of Greensburg; son Nicholas Scheele of Oldenburg; step son Gregory Busch of Indianapolis; sisters Mary Scheele of Cincinnati, Clara Becker of Cincinnati, Alice Stenger of Brookville, Irene Tebbe of Greensburg; brother Lambert Scheele of Batesville; three grandchildren and ten step grandchildren.Visitation is Tuesday, October 4th, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 5th, at Holy Family Church with Rev. David Kobak O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183 and the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271. The family requests memorials to the Hospice of Decatur County.
