My sincerest condolences to all of the Sidells'. Charlie was indeed a kind and loving man. I do actually remember helping him watch the squirrels in his yard on Beech Grove Avenue. Cherish the memories. Wishing you all comfort.

Sidell Family - Sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. Over the years, we enjoyed walking past his house to exchange our "Hello" to whoever might be visiting while sitting on the porch. It won't be the same. May you all find comfort knowing he is reunited with your Mom (Edna) and that you all are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your neighbors, Jeff & Gretchen Gutzwiller
I have fond memories of Charlie when we were both working at Batesville Primary School. He had the greatest smile and always stopped by the workroom to say "hi" and to share a lot of memories from delivering milk at my dad's grocery store back in the 50's. Rest in Peace My Friend 🙏
Growing up in 1950’s Batesville, it was always a treat to see the local Milkman. Everyone had their own private storage box sitting on their front porch. Charlie was one of those special people!
I always remember Charlie as our friendly smiling milkman when I was a kid. He was always so nice to people and a very caring man! Enjoy your time with God Charlie I am sure it is a wonderful place to be in (God's Paradise). Thank you for being such a wonderful man and always bringing our milk. Pam Gerdowsky

Joe, Randy, Larry, Peggy and Families,
So sorry for your loss! Your Dad always had a smile on his face and will be missed. As his neighbor for may years, Alan has many fond memories of the milk truck also. His fondest memories tho are of all the many hours he spent in the woods hunting with Charlie. He still gets a big laugh that he still referred to him as "Hole". Much love and prayers to all !
Charlie was always such a cheerful presence at Batesville Primary School. I will miss his smile immensely! Debbie Blank
