Charlotte J. Fegley's Obituary
Charlotte June Fegley, 84, Batesville, Indiana, formerly of Delaware, Ohio, passed away on February 23, 2014, at St. Andrews Health Campus. She was born October 23, 1929, in Delaware, Ohio, to Charles Louis and Mary Emma Stewart of Radnor, Ohio.On April 25, 1944, she married Charles Edward Fegley prior to his departure to serve our country in WW II. Living around the Delaware area most of her life, while raising three children, she worked at The Boston Store and Cubberly Studios where she retired in 1989. She was a member of The Degree of Pocahontas Auxiliary and The Improved Order of the Red Men Lodge both in Hyatts, Ohio. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and playing cards with her fellow lodge members. Charlotte will be missed by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Cindy) Fegley of Roswell, Georgia and Kelly (Linda) Fegley of Batesville, Indiana. She is also survived by sisters and brother-in-law Marion Curmode and Rosalee (Harry) Clevenger, both of Delaware, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck, daughter Patricia, and 14 brothers, sisters, half-brothers and half-sisters. Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am followed immediately by funeral services at Robinson Funeral Home, 32 West Winter Street, Delaware, Ohio. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware, Ohio. Memorials may be made to The Degree of Pocahontas of the Improved Order of the Red Men benefitting Alzheimer’s research or to the Bill Giltz Memorial Fund c/o St. Louis Catholic Church, Batesville, Indiana.
