Cheryl A. Frensemeier's Obituary
Cheryl A. Frensemeier, age 61 of Batesville, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her residence. Born July 14, 1952 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Delores (Nee: Raver) and Francis "Bobe" Walke. She married Michael Frensemeier May 22, 1971 at St. Louis Church in Batesville. Cheryl was a member of St. Anthony Church and was a volunteer at the Sunday night bingo, V.F.W. Post #3183 Ladies Auxiliary and the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271 Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for 15 years at Hill-Rom and most recently worked in housekeeping at the Sherman House Restaurant & Inn.
Cheryl could often be found 2 - 3 times a week in devotion at the St. Louis Church Adoration Chapel. She loved to watch and listen to the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, the Indianapolis Colts, and throughout the week when she wasn't working she would often watch her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives. She loved to eat popcorn, enjoyed reading, canning vegetables and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Mike; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Matthew Harpring of Batesville; sons Brian Frensemeier of Batesville, Gerald (Gary) Frensemeier of Brookville, Indiana, Lloyd Frensemeier of Evansville, Indiana; sisters Janet Maple, Joan Dwenger and Carol Baker, all of Batesville; brother Steve Walke of Batesville and grandchildren Jared, Zach and Addison Frensemeier.
Visitation is Monday, June 30th, from 4 - 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1st, at St. Anthony Church in Morris, Indiana, with Rev. Shaun Whittington officiating. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Margaret Mary Health or to St. Anthony Church.
