Chris was such a "gentleman!"
I had the pleasure of coaching his son, Ben, on a youth basketball team. Chris was so thoughtful and gave me a b'ball clipboard to assist with diagramming team plays. He, Loretta, and Shelby always attended Ben's games.
I continued to attend some games after that team of boys advanced on thru the system. One particular game, I struggled to climb some steps to the arena in Madison due to an inflamed knee occurrence. Chris was there to assist me to the top of the steps. That's the kind of gentleman he was!
To Ben and Shelby.....my heart shares your sadness, but I want you to remain strong, Stay focused with your life, and be successful in achieving your dreams.

I remember meeting Chris when his son Ben and my grandson Ryan played together on the "Red Team" in Dirt Road Basketball. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed watching those games.
