What a wonderful, sweet, giving lady has left our midst. I trust God will comfort your family as you grieve the loss of her presence. I have wonderful memories of her gentle spirit & love for children. She certainly influenced several generations of Batesville families!
Mrs. Speth was my kindergarten teacher I remember her kindness. She was also a life long friend of my mother,Catherine Nordmeyer. They played bridge together. They were in the same sorority. As I look back in life and realize how much of what I needed to know I actually learned in Kindergarten, I realize how blessed I was to have Mrs. Speth as my Kindergarten teacher.My condolences to her family - and thanks for sharing such a caring educator with generations of Batesville's Kindergarten students.
Mrs. Speth was a wonderful teacher. She touched many lives in her years of teaching. Mrs. Speth was one of the best. She loved her students and made us feel very special. I am glad she was my teacher. The family has my condolences.
