Daren M. Heppner's Obituary
Daren M. Heppner, age 49 of Batesville, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his residence. Born May 20, 1965 in Batesville, he is the son of Shirley (Nee: Volk) and Jerry Heppner. He was a sales manager for C.M. Temporary Services and a member of St. Louis Church.
Daren was the essential alpha male. He like shooting guns and seeing things blow up. An avid hunter, he liked hunting deer, rabbits, squirrels and coyotes. He was proficient with a bow and had a collection of trophies from past competitions to prove it. Not only did he like cars, especially muscle cars, but he enjoyed working on them as well. His family delighted in teasing about his fixation with the T.V. shows CSI, Law and Order and the movie Rambo. While pizza was a huge favorite of his, hamburgers were it. Daren loved to grill big, fat hamburgers and cover them with peppers.
He is survived by his daughters Amber and Alyssa Heppner, both of Batesville; father Jerry Heppner of Batesville, sisters Debbie Hughes of Batesville and Dena Heppner of Columbus, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his mother Shirley.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 28th, from 9 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Louis Church with Rev. Randy Summers officiating. Following services, Daren will be cremated and a private interment will be held. The family requests memorials to the Hospice of Margaret Mary Health.
