Dolores F. Weisenbach's Obituary
Dolores F. Weisenbach, age 77 of Morris, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. Born July 20, 1930 in Franklin County Indiana, she is the daughter of Rose (Nee: Lamping) and John Bedel. She married William Weisenbach November 22, 1956 at St. Anne’s Church in Hamburg, Indiana.Dolores was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Morris as well as the St. Anne’s Ladies Society. She loved to dance, especially to Blue Grass music. She also enjoyed word puzzles, hummingbirds and gardening until her health in later years kept her out of the garden. Having raised chickens for years, they eventually became referred to as her “pet chickens.”She is survived by her daughter Nancy Knigga of Bright, Indiana; sons Kenneth and James Weisenbach, both of Batesville; sisters Alfrieda Peters of Greensburg, Indiana, Coletta Prickel of Morris, Alberta Bedel of Hamburg; brother Ferdinand Bedel of Hamburg; 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by sisters Rosemary Meyer, Cecilia Wesseler, Antoinette Enneking and brothers Edmund, Sylvester, Leonard, Alvin, Adelheide and Eustella Bedel. Visitation is Saturday, June 14th, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services follow at Noon at St. Anthony’s Church with Rev. Paschall Nduka officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony’s Choir.
