The Post sponsored the Legion Team and he often helped with the concessions during their baseball games. One of his favorite pastimes were the Euchre and 7-Up card games that the guys often play at the Post. Most important to him was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren, Robert and Michaela who affectionately called him “Poppy”.He is survived by his wife Nancy; sons and daughter-in-laws Jason and Nicole Hoegeman and Tony and Kerri Hoegeman, both of Greensburg; sisters Diane Robinson and Beatrice Hicks, both of Batesville, Betty Clark of Greensburg, Mary Hoegeman of Greensburg; brother Richard Hoegeman of Batesville and two grandchildren.
