Edward B. Fullenkamp's Obituary
Edward B. Fullenkamp, age 69 of Oldenburg, Indiana, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at his residence. Born October 6, 1937 in Hamburg, Indiana, he is the son of Olivia (Nee: Westgerdes) and Lawrence Fullenkamp. He married Jane Dietz on April 4, 1959 at the St. Louis Church in Batesville, Indiana.Eddie served in the Navy and then worked at the Batesville Casket Company as an Over the Road Truck Driver for 40 years, before retiring in August 2000. He was a member of the Holy Family Church and the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271.He is survived by his wife Jane of Oldenburg; daughters Tamara (Tami) Lamping of Oldenburg and Trisha Shively of Kokomo, IN; sons Gregory of Greensburg, IN and Doug of Batesville; sister Mary Ann Moeller of Oldenburg; brothers Paul of Batesville, Kenneth of Shelbyville and Lawrence of Oldenburg; grandchildren Josh Lamping, Mandy Lewis, Anne Fullenkamp, Daniel Fullenkamp, Corey Fullenkamp, Andrew Shively, Lauren Shively and Eykis Fullenkamp; great-grandchildren Corbyn Lewis, Eli Lamping, Rachel Lamping, Sara Lamping, Christopher Lewis, Maddie Hyle and Jacob Hyle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Beatrice Ferringer; brothers Albert, Victor, Norbert and Eugene Fullenkamp.Visitation is Wednesday, November 1st, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 2nd, at the Holy Family Church, with Rev. Rock Travnikar officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271 and by the Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183. The family request memorials to the Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital.
