Ric and I became great friends in the early 1960’s. The back door of Fullenkamp’s Sports and the back door of the American Cleaners opened up on the same alley. It was easy for us to visit each other or meet at The Ship or lunch.
Due to his living in Batesville and me living in Florida we did not see each other often but when we did get together it was like we had never been separated. Ric was a great guy, I will miss him!!!!!
I am so sorry for your loss. I just met Ric a few short years ago in the golf league but I really liked how upbeat and enjoyable he was all the time. I will miss him. Steve Huber

To all of Ric's loved ones: I was so shocked and grieved when I chanced upon reading his obituary. I knew Ric well from my college days. In fact, I recall attending his parents' 25th wedding anniversary. We were good buddies and I would stop to visit him at the store thru the years when I was back in town. Melanie, Words can't describe how sorry I am at the passing of Ric. I've known him since the first grade. He was a good friend to me and a wonderful person. I hope the special memories you made together comfort you through this difficult time. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
