Florence H. Effinger's Obituary
Florence H. Effinger, age 95 of Batesville, Indiana, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. Born June 23, 1910, in St. Magdalene, Indiana, she is the daughter of Elizabeth (Nee: Starke) and Joseph Adam. She married Louis Effinger June 23, 1934, at St. Louis Church in Batesville. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1989.Florence was a homemaker and a member of St. Louis Church, the St. Louis Ladies Society and the Batesville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by daughters Helen Prickel of Batesville, Cecilia "Celie" Schultz of Indianapolis, Alice Luers of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Evelyn "Jean" Seevers of Dayton, Ohio; son Francis Effinger of Batesville; sister Leona Suding of Batesville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by two grandsons.Visitation is Tuesday, June 6th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7th, at St. Louis Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Louis School or Batesville E.M.S. 10.
