She also liked a whiskey and water now and again. According to her family, mom was an exceptional cook and baker. They especially liked her hash and her Apple Sauce Cake. They also discussed how her faith was important to her and how she loved Christmas and the holiday season. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.Florence is survived by her daughter and son-in-laws Betty and Don Newton of Warsaw, Kentucky, Mary Lou and Paul Hubbard of Batesville, Ruth and Jack Johnson of Batesville, Patti and Gary Peters of Lebanon, Ohio; sister Irene Nugent of Charlotte, North Carolina; brother Jim Barry of Elizabethtown, New Jersey; eleven grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
