Frances Louise Duenne's Obituary

Born January 6, 1923 in Lexington, Kentucky, she is the daughter of Ida (Nee: Webb) and Charles Milton Anderson. She married Leo Duenne July 12, 1941 at St. Augustine Church in Cincinnati, Ohio and he preceded her in death September 28, 1999. Frances was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.Frances loved to spend time doing latch hook, tending to her flowers, picking blackberries or even being out in the yard cutting the grass. She would often be found in the kitchen cooking for her family, canning fruits and vegetables and baking, with apple dumplings being one of the family favorites. She loved very much when people would stop at her house to visit and according to her family “no one was ever a stranger to her.” She was an old fashioned, down home woman that stayed home to take care of her family, especially when her husband Leo was in the service. The most important thing to her though was spending time with her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great grandkids. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Duenne of Oldenburg; son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Martha Jo Duenne of St. Peter’s, Indiana; son-in-law William Miller of Liberty, Indiana; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband Leo, she is preceded in death by daughter Barbara Miller; sisters Dorothy Heft, Lorraine Markhoffer, Christina Hurst, Ann Spencer, Virginia Anderson; brothers Charles and Herbert Anderson and grandson Donald Parkhurst.Visitation is Thursday, October 24th, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary service at 4 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday, October 25th, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Oldenburg, with Rev.
