Freda A. Kile's Obituary
Freda A. Kile, age 81 of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Oldenburg, Indiana, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Mercy Hospital of Western Hills in Cincinnati. Born August 17, 1927 in Oldenburg, she is the daughter of Josephine (Nee: Effing) and Joseph Laudick. She married Paul W. Kile October 12, 1948 at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg and he preceded her in death January 17, 1990.Freda was a member of St. Ignatius Church in Cincinnati and a homemaker who enjoyed several interests. Each day she would spend time working word search puzzles and keeping up with her favorite soap operas. She was also very devout and prayed the rosary daily. Her children teased her about being able to wear out the rosary beads and also point out that their being strong willed is a trait they come by honestly from their mom. Freda’s greatest pleasure was the Christmas season. She loved it so much that she would extend it several months with the decorations and trimmings around her house.She is survived by her daughter Terri Pestona of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; son and daughter in law Paul R. and Edith Kile of Liberty Township, Ohio; and sisters Luella Lamppert of Oldenburg and Mary Fehrringer of Lafayette, Indiana. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers James and Francis Laudick.Visitation is Friday, October 17th, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 18th, at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg with Rev. David Kobak O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family requests memorials to St. Ignatius Church.
