Gregory D. "Pee Wee" Peters, age 42 of Batesville, died Sunday, June 18th, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born January 15, 1964 in Batesville, he is the son of Irene (Nee: Bruns) and Charley Peters. He was a cook at the Sherman House for 25 years.Pee Wee is survived by his daughter Clarice Peters of Batesville; sister Sharon Cozart of Batesville; brothers William of Batesville, Tyrone of Maineville, Ohio, Gerald of Lebanon, Ohio; his former wife Jennifer Gillman of Batesville and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation is Thursday, June 22nd, from 4-8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, with a rosary service being held at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday, June 23rd, at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Rob Hankee officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Clarice Peters Education Fund.
