Howard H. Rosemeyer Sr.'s Obituary
Howard H. Rosemeyer, age 69 of Batesville, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Heritage House in Greensburg. Born May 7, 1943 in Batesville, he is the son of Stella (Nee: Lutz) and Joseph Rosemeyer. He served in the Air Force and after the service took his love for cars and opened his own body shop before retiring several decades later. In addition to his passion for cars, he also liked to read with National Geographic and the newspaper among his favorites.He is survived by his sister, Sharon Cooper of Batesville; brothers Bob of Weisburg, Indiana, Jack of Fairfield, Ohio, Paul of Milan, Indiana; mother Stella Rosemeyer of Batesville; sons Chris, Robert and Howard Jr., all of St. Petersburg, Florida as well as several grandchildren. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his sister Betty Bills. Howard is being cremated and there will be no visitation or services.
