Jack Kellerman's Obituary
Jack Kellerman, age 65 of Batesville, died Monday, February 4, 2008, at his residence. Born February 21, 1942 in Batesville, he is the son of Adele (Nee: Struewing) and Sylvester Kellerman. He married Vicki Decker January 5, 1963 at St. Louis Church.Jack was an attorney and operated the Kellerman Law Firm in Batesville. He was a member of the Ripley County Bar Association, Knights of St. John, Batesville Eagles Aerie #1130 and St. Louis Church. Those who knew Jack know he enjoyed life and entertaining people. Some of his other passions included boating, working in his garden and stopping off at flea markets. Jack took pleasure in cooking and was always dreaming up new flavors of jelly although according to his family, some of them should have remained a dream. He is survived by his wife Vicki; daughter Amy Streator of Batesville; sons John, Pete, Clay and Adam, all of Batesville; sisters Charlotte Heppner of Oldenburg, Indiana, Peg Weber of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Becky Gaskill of Dallas, Texas; brothers Bob Fehrman of Greensburg, Indiana, Dan Fehrman of Batesville and 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, his father who was killed during WWII and his step father William Fehrman.Visitation is Wednesday, February 6th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, February 7th, at St. Louis Church with Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family requests memorials to the Batesville Fire Department, Phi Beta Psi Sorority Cancer Research or the Ripley County Community Foundation.
