James M. Doyle Jr.'s Obituary
James M. Doyle Jr., age 84 of Batesville and formerly of Cincinnati, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at St. Andrew’s Health Campus. Born February 12, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri, he is the son of Martha (Nee: Pope) and James Doyle Sr. He married Anna Sabelhaus October 22, 1950 at St. Clements Church in Cincinnati and she preceded him in death in July of 2009. Jim served in the Navy Seabees during World War II. After the service, he spent 32 years with Proctor and Gamble as line manager before retiring.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Karen and Joe Tasse of Northville, Michigan; son Jim Doyle of Batesville; sister Patricia Smith of Lafayette, California and grandchildren Caitlin, Timothy, Michael, Patrick, Sydney and Annie. In addition to his wife and parents, he is also preceded in death by sister Marcia Doyle and daughter-in-law Karen Doyle. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cincinnati at a later date. The family requests memorials to the Humane Society in Jim’s memory.
