Mahle family, I express my deepest sympathies to you. Jim was a man among men, always kind, friendly and wonderful to all he knew and touched. God will be with him and you as well.
Mary Jo,I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I had heard thru Mike C that he and Jim were just flying together not too long ago.I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.Marianne Wiggers
Mary Jo, I am so so sorry for your loss. I had no idea that Jim was ill. You know, I was to marry him, but the fact that I was only 6 years old or so, may have been a problem. Such is a little girl's first crush.I have wonderful memories of him and my Dad. Now they are together again flying the friendly skies around Batesville. I assume my Dad is in a P51. One thing is for sure, there are jokes a plenty and stories being told in heaven today.Again, I am sorry I can not be up there at this sad time, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this very sad time. Love,Wendy Godfrey-Dean

Rob and family,So sorry about your loss! You are in my prayers and thoughts!
Our hangars sit next to one another at the Greensburg Airport. I moved my plane there in March of last year so we only became friends this past summer. I enjoyed his company on weekends when tinkering with our planes or going flying. I will truly miss him around the airport & local fly ins. My condolences go out to his family!
