James C. Tekulve's Obituary
James C. Tekulve, age 50 of Batesville, died Saturday, January 7, 2006, at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. Born March 1, 1955 in Batesville, he is the son of Edna (Nee: Prakel) and Robert Tekulve. He married Susan Raab on December 26, 1992 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Batesville. He was an assistant foreman for the Med-Mizer Company in Batesville. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman, a longtime member of Buckmasters and a member of St. Louis Church. He also loved practical jokes, as many of his family and friends can attest too. He is survived by his wife Susan; daughter Becky Tekulve of Napoleon; sons Eric and Nick of Batesville; sister Bev Wehr of Pekin, IL; brothers Steve Spencer of Batesville, Bob Tekulve of Steamboat Springs, CO, Jon Tekulve of Milan, Bill Tekulve of Batesville and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation is Wednesday, January 11th, from 4-7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home. Funeral services follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Daniel Mahan officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the family.
