Jane A. Magee's Obituary
Jane A. Magee, age 49 of Hamburg, Indiana, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Hospitality Hall in Batesville, Indiana. Born June 25, 1957 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Loretta (Nee: Schrank) and John Effing. She married William Magee on February 9, 1990 in Versailles, Indiana.Jane was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She was was the Executive Assistant to the Vice-President of the Hill-Rom for 30 years.Jane is survived by her husband Bill; son Adam Magee of Hamburg; sisters Pauline Murrie of Cincinnati, OH, Rosemary Rudolf of Hamburg, Marilyn Norton and Linda Luken, both of Greensburg, IN; brothers Harold Effing of Osgood, IN, Ray Effing of Batesville, Ronald Effing of Hamburg and William Effing of Oldenburg, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation is Friday, March 23rd, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24th at St. Anne’s Church in Hamburg, with Rev. Carl Hawver, OFM officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Oldenburg, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital, Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH or the St. Cecelia Convent in Nashville, TN.
