Joan L. Mang's Obituary
Joan L. Mang, age 70 of Greensburg, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at her residence. Born March 27, 1936 in Hamilton, Ohio, she is the daughter of Elsie (Nee: Hase) and John Lunsford. She married Paul Mang Sr. August 15, 1959, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Crossroads in Batesville. Joan owned Mang’s Craft Shop in Greensburg from 1969 to 1981 and along with her husband owned Mang’s Vault Company of Greensburg from 1974 to 2002, serving as secretary and treasurer. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Batesville Chapter #348 and Kingston Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband Paul Sr., daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Chip Marcy of Batesville; son and daughter-in-law Paul and Sharon Mang Jr. of Greensburg; grandchildren Sean, Aaron and Kendra Mang of Greenburg, Charles Bradley and Elizabeth Marcy of Batesville, and four cousins.Visitation is Sunday, October 8th, from 2-6 p.m., at the funeral home, with a prayer service conducted by the Order of Eastern Star Batesville Chapter #348 at 6 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, October 9th, at the funeral home, with Rev. David Crowley officiating. Burial will be in Kingston Presbyterian Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
