John L. Reddish's Obituary
John L. Reddish, age 67 of Sunman, Indiana, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at his residence. Born September 25, 1939, in Waveland, Indiana, he is the son of Evelyn (Nee: Rice) and William Reddish. He married Patricia Andrews October 14, 1962, at Ben Davis Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.John served in the marines from 1957-1960. After his discharge, he opened the trucking company Reddish Inc., and was owner-operator for 42 years, before retiring. He was a member of the Sunman Bible Church.He is survived by his wife Pat, daughters Gina Reddish Kern of Milan, Indiana, Gerri Reddish of Sunman, Lana Reddish James of Speedway, Indiana; sisters Mary Bruin of Indianapolis, Lois Cloncs of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Kathryn Marshall of Crawfordsville, Carolyn Fullen of Brownsburg, Indiana; brothers James Reddish of Rushville, Indiana, Don Reddish of Russellville, Indiana and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation is Sunday, August 5th, from 1-5 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, Indiana. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, August 6th, at the funeral home, with Rev. Sterling Cauble officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s cemetery in Sunman, with military graveside rites conducted by the Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183 and the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Margaret Mary or the Hansen Cancer Center.
