Joyce M. Ronnebaum's Obituary
Joyce M. Ronnebaum, age 82 of Batesville, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Margaret Mary Health. Born September 8, 1932 in Ripley County Indiana, she is the daughter of Nellie (Nee: Strobel) and Cyrus Bohlke. She married Bernard Ronnebaum February 18, 1950 at St. Mary’s of the Rock Church and he preceded her in death December 1, 1987. A member of St. Louis Church and life member of the Brookville V.F.W. Post #2014 Ladies Auxiliary, Joyce worked in the laundry department of Margaret Mary Health 24 years before retiring.
She is survived by her daughters Teresa Ziegler of Batesville, Carol Becker of Brookville; sons Larry of Brookville, Ken, Jim and John, all of Batesville; sister Marjorie Schoetmer of Batesville; brother Allen Bohlke of Titusville, Florida; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister Betty Klug.
Visitation is Thursday, April 16th, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday, April 17th, at St. Louis Church with Rev. Stan Pondo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s of the Rock Cemetery. The family requests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Brookville V.F.W. Post #2014.
