Juanita F. Litmer's Obituary
Juanita F. Litmer, age 71 of Enochsburg, Indiana, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at her residence. Born April 14, 1935 in Batesville, Indiana, she is the daughter of Floretta (Nee: Donovan) and Clarence Hildebrand. She married Carl “Dick” Litmer on October 12, 1957 at St. John’s Church in Enochsburg and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2005.Juanita was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Church, Eagles Aerie #1130 Ladies Auxiliary and the Daughters of Isabella.She is survived by her daughters Kim Vance of Loveland, Ohio, Melissa Litmer and Angela Meyer, both of Enochsburg; sons Michael Litmer of Indianapolis and Curt Litmer of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters Mary Maple of Batesville, Helen Metcalf of Greensburg, Indiana, Jane Harmeyer and Jill Wolf, both of Bright, Indiana; brother Bill Jake Hildebrand of Portland, Oregon and nine grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Pat Lowrey.Visitation is Thursday, April 12th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 13th, at St. John’s Church in Enochsburg, with Rev. Stephen Akange officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital.
