Judith Ann Ray, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018 at the Waters of Batesville. Born October 24, 1926 in Elkins, West Virginia, she is the daughter of Leora (Nee: Painter) and Charles Harwood. She married Preston Read Obituary
Dear Chip - I was saddened when Howard Painter and also Nancy Ortlip contacted me about Judy's passing. I loved her and always enjoyed her at our Wood reunions at Mingo, WV. I also have fond memories of her visiting my grandmother, Iona Painter Gillespie Rivoire, in White Sulphur when I was a child. She will be greatly missed by all of us. We all need one Aunt Judy in our lives. Someone with wisdom, experience, nonjudgemental, yet warranted opinion's, and more than anything, unconditional love. She made my life more complete, and because of her, I will always be at peace. Rest in Peace, Aunt Judy. You're job is done here. And because of you, we will all be fine.

RIP Judy. Although I only knew you and Pres for a short while, it was great working with the two of you and chatting with you at the front desk. I always thought you were a tough lady and always busy doing something on the home front. I'm glad you were able to live a full life and are now in eternal peace with Pres.
