Kevin L. Moody's Obituary
Kevin L. Moody, age 59 of Batesville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Andrew’s Health Campus. Born March 19, 1954 in Batesville, he is the son of Mary (Nee: Enzinger) and Alvin “Babe” Moody. He worked 40 years at Hill-Rom as an assembler before recently retiring. Kevin, not much for crowds, had a small, close knit group of friends with whom he enjoyed many activities. He loved to golf, was a long time league bowler and played a lot of ping pong and pool. He was a huge fan of NASCAR, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Browns and he also liked to fish. His family teased about how much he watched the Game Show Network and Fear Factor before it went off the air. According to his family, Kevin apparently had quite a collection of Budweiser memorabilia, right down to his bowling ball.He is survived by his daughters Nicki Eichhold of Cincinnati, Ohio, Janel Norris of Batesville; sisters Beverly Jumper of Marseilles, Illinois, Anita Zielinski of Troy, Ohio, Cindy Weiler of Batesville, Roseann Tousley of Seattle, Washington; brothers Ken and Keith Moody, both of Batesville and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation is Friday, May 3rd, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services which are at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4th, at St. Louis Church. Rev. Randy Summers will officiate followed by burial in the church cemetery. The family requests memorials to the Hansen Center.
