Larry A. Raver's Obituary
Larry A. Raver, age 62 of Connersville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the Waters of Batesville. Born January 1, 1945 in Connersville, he is the son of Loretta (Nee: Harmeyer) and Raymond Raver. He married Joyce Bessler July 19, 1969, at St. John’s Church in Enochsburg, Indiana. Larry worked for Visteon, retiring in June of 2005. He was a member of St. Louis Church in Batesville. Survivors include his wife Joyce; daughter Tonya Raver of Bloomington, Indiana; sons Chris of Seattle, Washington, Jonathan of Northville, Michigan; sisters Laverne Urdal of Davidsonville, Maryland, Ruth Anne Watson of Muncie, Indiana and brother Robert of Liberty, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation is Saturday, March 17th, from 9 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home. Funeral services follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Louis Church, with the Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ripley County Relay for Life.
