He liked music as well as a good book, loved fried chicken & beer and on occasion was known to break out in song. His family affectionately teased him about being a “barnyard engineer”, but he was actually very skilled at fixing things and solving problems to the point that family and neighbors would often seek his help. Larry was also a devout man and the issue of Right to Life was important to him.He is survived by his wife Lucille; daughters Sarah Sizemore of Liberty Township, Ohio, Rose Nuhring of Batesville, Dorothy Burkhart of Southgate, Kentucky, Emily Glardon of Metamora, Indiana, Theresa Davis and son Thomas Honnert, both of St. Mary’s; his Aunt Cecilia Ross of Cincinnati and 18 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation is Wednesday, January 27th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A private rosary will be held. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, January 28th, at St. Mary’s of the Rock Church with Rev. Carl Hawver O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family requests memorials to Right to Life of Franklin County, the A.L.S. Association of Ohio, Hospice of Margaret Mary or St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
