Lillian S. Gallant's Obituary
Lillian S. Gallant, age 78 of Versailles and formerly of Batesville, died Monday, November 13, 2006, at her residence. Born December 24, 1927 in Lawrenceville, Indiana, she is the daughter of Carrie (Nee: Woljung) and Edward Hill.Lillian worked at Anne's Fabrics in Batesville for over 25 years and retired in 1986. She is survived by her daughters Candace of Georgia, Aurdey of Versailles; sister Ruby Schuck of Versailles and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister Michelle and one grandson.It was Lillian's wishes to be cremated with no public visitation or services. A private memorial service will be held by the family.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Ministries of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Batesville.
