Mr.Tebbe was one of the first people I met when our family moved to Batesville. I repeatedly saw him sitting on his porch alone and decided to go sit with him one day. It was one of the best decisions I made after moving here. Mr. Tebbe and I became friends and had conversations about everything from farming and the weather to our families and community events. I always looked forward to our conversations, and even after he moved into the nursing home, I found myself driving past his house and wishing he was still there. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

What a beautiful human being. Louie and Sylvia were among the the first friends we encountered when building our home back in 1975 in Quail Meadows. Their farmland was directly across the highway. No kinder and friendlier neighbors to be found. They were like a second set of parents and their girls babysat for our growing family. We missed them after selling their land and moving into town. Rest Well Dear Friend ... You are with Your Sweet Sylvia now.

Louis was a great next door neighbor during my family’s first 10 years back in Batesville. He and Sylvia were a great example of a perfect catholic marriage. I know Louis never got over her passing and missed her dearly everyday. I hope he is with her now and that they are enjoying their lives in eternity!! I would highly doubt Louis needs much, if any, time in Purgotory, safe to believe he’s amongst the saints already!!
