Bette and I send our condolences to Linda’s family in Batesville. Linda fought a long prolonged fight and is now reaping the rewards of her suffering with glory in heaven.
Linda has earned the extra glory she has, while we here remember her suffering and sacrifices she had. We are proud to have known Linda and the model she serves for us.
Pat, you and your families mourn the separation of Linda in your lives. That is proper and understandable to all of us. Remember the big picture, though. All the pain and suffering of Linda here on earth have placed Linda high up the ladder in eternity. She carries weight in her reward that can help each of you during your lives. To Sam and family, I am so heartbroken for you. You are an amazing young man and I'm sure your mother had a lot to do with that. You helped make my first year in teaching a great one.
