Marcelle Ginnette Grampelsperger's Obituary
Marcelle G. Grampelsperger, age 87 of Batesville, Indiana and formerly of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the St. Andrew’s Health Campus in Batesville. Born August 13, 1924 in Paris, France, she is the daughter of Henriette (Nee: Opeenhove) and Marcell Bouchoux. She married Ray Grampelsperger in Harvard, Illinois and he preceded her in death.Marcelle spent most of her years in Eureka Springs, Arkansas where she was a member of the Lonestar Church.She is survived by her granddaughter Tracy (Mike) Dwenger and grandson Chris Harvey, all of Oldenburg, Indiana; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister; several nieces and nephews; and devoted caregivers in Eureka Springs John & Mary Faulkner. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son John C. Harvey.Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27th, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg, Indiana, with Rev. David Kobak, O.F.M. officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
