Marie H. Schwegman's Obituary
Marie H. Schwegman, age 90 of Batesville, died Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. Born May 3, 1916 in Franklin County Indiana, she is the daughter of Cecelia (Nee: Moorman) and Conrad Schwegman. Marie was a housekeeper for the Paul and Katherine Romweber family for 50 years, before retiring. She was a member of the St. Mary’s of the Rock Church and its Ladies Society and the Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary.She is survived by her sister Alma Bruns of West College Corner, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Clara Freese and brothers Edward, Lawrence and Bert Schwegman.Visitation is Tuesday, March 13th, from 4-8 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, with a rosary service at 4 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14th, at St. Mary’s of the Rock Church in St. Mary’s, Indiana. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Church Window Fund.
