What a wonderful lady to have known in my early years at BCC
Deepest sympathies to the Wessling family-lots of great memories- Marie was such an important part of the HI family--Rest in Peace-
My sympathies to Marie's family. She will be missed. She was the voice of Hillenbrand and Batesville, I remember hearing her page someone in the early 1970s over the PA in the old Hillenbrand office. Over the last 36 years receiving calls from Marie or calling her to help locate other associates. She truly could track any associate down, regardless of where they were. I would run into her as CVS or Kroger, we would talk about times past. I enjoyed our many conversations and will surely miss them. She was one of the Good Ones!
I'm sorry to hear about Marie's death. I have many good memories of her at BCC. My sympathies to her family.
51 yrs at HI. Wow! And she truly was the voice of Batesville Casket for five decades! Marie was alwyas there and always delightful. And she knew all the reps by voice alone. She knew everyone in the company. And back in the 70's and 80's, before we had voice mail and cell phones, Marie could track you down easily out in your territory. She would call Jane at home to find out where I was headed and then call the funeral homes to find me. It was a pleasure to know her, also to see her occassionally when I was in the office--and if I was spending the night in Batesville I'd always see her in the evening at the drug store back when it was next to the DQ! Marie was one in a million! An important part of a great company.
I loved Marie! She was my favorite! She always had a kind word for me.
Marie was so great to work with. So sad to know she passed away. Such a wonderful lady!
Very sad to hear this. I chatted many times with Marie at CVS thru my 28 years of living in Batesville. She was a wonderful lady. My condolences to her family.
Joe and Family, Marie was so special. I always enjoyed our Saturday morning conversations, usually with my children. I am glad Marie has preceded me to heaven. She will know how to find all my ancestors. Joe and Elaine it is time to grieve, but think how happy the people in heaven are right now. Now they can find their special people with Marie...She was special
So sorry to hear about Marie, she was a sweet helpful lady and she will be missed.
