I worked with Mark at Puget Sound. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Oaxaca, Mexico with Mark. I had a wonderful time with him on the trip. We painted Day of the Dead masks together. He also showed me where to get the best popsicles you'll ever have. I'm really sorry to learn this news.
Mark was a well-respected colleague at the University of Puget Sound. Although my interactions with him were limited, it was clear that he was a genuine and caring individual. I appreciated that deeply and extend my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
I worked with Mark at the University of Puget Sound. I helped study abroad students find coursework that would fulfill Spanish major requirements, and Mark was always so kind and helpful and quick to respond when I had a student who needed assistance.
