Born August 15, 1985 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, he is the son of Debbie (Nee: Meyer) Hargitt and Jeff Lee. He worked in the information technology department for the Cerner Corporation, a medical software company. A favorite part of his job was traveling to hospitals throughout the country to help them with device integration onto the system.Like many young men, he was a vibrant personality with many interests. A huge sports fan, Mark was an avid I.U. basketball fan, a Tennessee Vols football fan and with a cousin pitching in the Washington Nationals farm system, a baseball fan as well. Besides sports, others shows he enjoyed were “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Seinfeld”. He liked attending rock and hip-hop concerts with Lou Reed, Neil Young and Wilco among his favorite artists. Quiet time at home may find him picking on his guitar or getting out to go biking to relax or maybe swing by Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ, his favorite food haunt.
