Maxine A. Tekulve's Obituary
Maxine A. Tekulve, age 87 of Greenwood, Indiana and formerly of Batesville, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at the Greenwood Village South Care Facility. Born June 27, 1921, in Martinsville Township, Illinois, she is the daughter of Zenna (Nee: Spraker) and Donald Miller. She married Charles Tekulve August 20, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas and he preceded her in death August 25, 1983. She owned and operated Maxine’s Beauty Shop in Batesville for over 35 years. She also was a member of the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271 Ladies Auxiliary.Maxine is survived by her son Gerald Tekulve of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother Paul Miller of Oldenburg, Indiana; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation is Wednesday, July 23rd, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with funeral services following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. The family requests memorials to Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital.
