Melanie A. Dierckman, age 45 of Batesville, Indiana, died Thursday, December 27, 2007 at University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born June 24, 1962 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Rosemary (Nee: Doll) and Elmer Dierckman.Melanie was a Children's Day Care Provider and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.She is survived by her father Elmer of Batesville; sisters Lola Fisher, Linda Dierckman, Barb Kruthaupt, Ellen Eckstein and Lisa Dierckman, all of Batesville; brothers Roger of Dublin, Ohio, Dennis of Katy, Texas, Steve of Buford, Georgia, Bill of Noblesville, Indiana and Bob of Sunman, Indiana; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosemary.Visitation is Monday, December 31st, from 10 a.m - 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are Monday, December 31st, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, with Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Louis School or Oldenburg Academy.
