Peg Ankrum's Obituary
Peg Ankrum, age 79 of Metamora, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Brookville Health Care Center in Brookville. Born July 3, 1928 in Newark, Ohio, she is the daughter of Eleanore (Nee: Ford) and Owen Currence. She married Robert Ankrum January 21, 1945 in Green Hills, Ohio.Peg worked as dairy supervisor at Kroger’s for 37 years and then eight years at Nobbe Clothing in Batesville before retiring. She is survived by her daughter Carol Arcaro of Metamora; brother Richard Currence on Centerville, Ohio; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers James and Robert Currence.A private visitation will be held at the funeral home for the family followed by cremation. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to Margaret Mary Home Health Care or Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital.
