Phyllis M. Burnett's Obituary
Phyllis M. Burnett, age 61 of Batesville, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at her home. Born July 10, 1953 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Corinthia (Nee: Ratliff) and Floyd Burnett.
She was a longtime nurse's aide for The Waters of Batesville and The Odd Fellows Home in Greensburg. Phyllis enjoyed raising flowers and reading biographies during her free time. She is survived by sisters Myra Ripperger of Metamora, Indiana, Charlene Elliott of Milan, Indiana; brother Norman Burnett of West Harrison, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother Raymond Burnett.
Visitation for the public will be Monday, April 13th, from 10 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home. A private graveside service for family will be held at St. Paul's Cemetery in Sunman. The family requests memorials to Catch-a-Ride or the Batesville Food Pantry.
