Dear John and Amy, so sorry to hear of the death of your Mother. I knew her from the Hansen Center where I also volunteered. (I am a sister to Yvonne Schneider [we married cousins] so that's how I met your Mother). We too live on the street where your Mother resided; two doors down, in fact. She was so happy last year when she moved here with "everything being on one floor". She was a very kind and sweet person; and I'll miss her also. Take care and God bless you and your families as we keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Sincerely, Art and Grace Schneider
John, sorry I will be out of town this Labor Day weekend visiting my son Nick and family in Texas. Many great memories of you and your family in Mount Prospect. Your mom always had a wonderful welcoming spirit! Blessings to you and your family as you celebrate her life. Love, Bill
We so enjoyed having your mother as part of our Outpatient Clinic family. She volunteered for dermatology clinic and also worked with our audiologist. She is remembered for her sweet smile, her faithfulness to her "job", and her devotion to her husband, Nick. As a woman of great faith, she looked forward to being reunited with him. So happy for both of them! She spoiled us to with cookies, and breads and coffee cakes. Great cook she was! I will miss her very much. I am so glad to have had the chance to get to know her and Nick. What a wonderful couple! God bless you and comfort you. Yvonne Schneider
Dear John, Celeste and the Griffin Families, Thinking of you all during this difficult time. I hope that your fond memories will help to heal you over time. In sympathy, Colleen Alpaugh and family
