Dear Phillis and family, I was saddened to hear that Dick had passed. Although we did not have much contact in recent years, we had many good times together in the past with our days together in the J C's, hunting, playing golf or playing cards. He is remembered and will be missed.

When Celeste and I moved to Batesville in 1976 we knew no one. We were told to “Go see Dick Martin” when we were in need of a mortgage. That is when we met Dick. He impressed us then and continued to demonstrate kindness and generosity every time we saw him. A fine man and.a fine family. He will be missed.
