Rita R. Bedel's Obituary
Rita R. Bedel, age 83 of Hamburg, Indiana, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at her residence. Born July 22, 1922 in Franklin County Indiana, she is the daughter of Anna (Nee: Yohler) and Ernest Bunyard. She married Alvin Bedel August 27, 1941 at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg, Indiana. Rita was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne's Church as well as the St. Anne's Ladies Society.She is survived by daughters and son-in-laws Carolyn & Don Rennekamp of Greesnburg, Indiana, Edith & Steve Lecher of Greesnburg, Marilyn & Don Freyer of Batesville; sons and daughter-in-laws Anthony & Janet M. Bedel of Greensburg, Thomas & Judy Bedel of Hamburg, Robert & Janet L. Bedel, Paul & Marilyn Bedel, Ambrose & Cathy Bedel, Maurice & Mary Jane Bedel, all of Greensburg, Mark & Janet D. Bedel of Oldenburg; sister Mary Abplanalp of Batesville; brother Joe Bunyard of Everton, Indiana; 47 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by sisters Louise Snyder, Ada Schebler, Ann Harmeyer; brothers William, Luke, Mike, Noah and Phillip Bunyard; two grandsons and one great granddaughter.Visitation is Tuesday, April 25th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 26th, at St. Anne's Church in Hamburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Anne's Cemetery Fund.
