Wayne, Dave and I send our deepest sympathies. As you know, Bob was considered part of our family and loved by all of us. Even after knowing Bob for 47 years, there was so much more about Bob we didn't know. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Love you.
It is 3:30 a.m. on the west coast and I can't sleep thinking about you Wayne. The prayer we learn as children keeps running through my mind. "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take". Thank you Heavenly Father for answering Wayne's prayer. Thank you Bob for your service to our country and for all that you contributed to make this world a better place. Love you Wayne with all my heart.
Much Sympathy to all. Paul and I both knew Bob from his days @ the pool. Paul was in some of Bob's swimming classes, and I knew Bob from when I swam and coached for Aurora. Bob was such a wonderful man. You have many great memories to treasure. Love you Wayne.

My condolences to Wayne and Mr Brokamp's nephews. My summers were spent at Batesville Memorial Swimming POOL and Mr. Brokamp taught so many of us how to swim through the Red Cross program. I then had him as a teacher in high school and his dry sense of humor was the thing I enjoyed most about him! Thank you for your service to our country, to our schools and to our community.

So sorry to learn of this sad news as Mr. Brokamp was know by so many people in Batesville, particularly those he taught at BHS. May he rest in peace.
Sincerest sympathy to Wayne and Nephews,Mr. Brokamp was a wonderful teacher that left a lasting impression on me. Also, lots of good memories at the Batesville Pool. A huge loss for Batesville.
